Leon Edwin Hakes Jr. 74, sadly left us on July 29, 2025. He was born January 4, 1951 to Leon and Lois Hakes Sr. of Belmont, New York.
Leon along with his wife Trenda of 30 years+ built their home In Surry, Virginia in 1992.
Leon was preceded in death by his wife Trenda, Siblings, Irene, Targosh, Arlene Allen and George Hakes.
Leon leaves to cheris his memories 7 children; Tammy, Jessie (Edward), Leon III (Jamie), Danielle (Tom), Greg (Jennifer), Joshua, Vinnie (Valerie).
Leon’s surviving siblings are Gary, Karl, Marlene, Rich, Linda(Scott) and Robin. A host of grandchildren nieces ,nephews along with many friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
