Major Calvin Lunsford died on Thursday, June 27, 2019. A celebration of his life will be held 12:00 Noon Saturday, July 6, 2019 at New Beech Grove Baptist Church 361 Beechmont Dr. Newport News, Va. Viewing 5-7 P.M. Friday and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church . Interment will be 11:00 Monday, July 8, 2019 at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veteran Cemetery.
