Mary Elizabeth Bailey Swann

 Mary Elizabeth Bailey Swann peacefully went home to be with the lord on August 20, 2022.  She was born May 6, 1928 in Carsley, Va. To the late Joseph Parson and Mable bailey

Mary was married to the late Joseph Swann.  To this Union, two children were born, Jesse Swann and the late Mable Swann.

Mary was educated at Surry Training School and Later enrolled in the Surry High School GED Program.  She was a member of Surry County Senior Citizens and the New Woman’s Club, also with the Senior Citizens.  She was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church, Carlsey, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter and sister Ruby Ellis.

Mary leaves to cherish her loving memory a very devoted and caring daughter Jessie Swann, a beloved friend Clara Bailey , numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
