Mr. John O. Little Jr.

John O. Little Jr., 66, departed this life on Sunday February 5,2023. A native of Newport News, VA, John had been a part of the East End community his entire life.  John was a graduate of the Colleges of William and Mary and Old Dominion University and was a charter member of Kappa Pi Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.  He retired from Newport News Public Schools as a kindergarten teacher after 41 diligent years of service.  Mr. Little is survived by his niece Mrs. Pamisha Little-Smith and her husband Reginald Smith of Williamsburg, VA and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held seven p.m. Friday, February 17th, at United House of Prayer for All People in Newport News, VA. Viewing from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at UHOP, prior to funeral services. Burial will be in Hampton Memorial Gardens Saturday, February 18th at 11 a.m. Flowers may be sent to Pooles Funeral home in Smithfield, VA or in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Virginia Foodbank.
