Mr. Thomas Edward Acker

Mr. Thomas Edward Acker departed this life Saturday, March 14, 2020 in Emporia. Va.  

He was born November 17, 1946 to the late  Clarence and Eula Acker.

Thomas attended the public schools of Newport News  and was a 1966 graduate of G.W. Carver High School.

He was preceded in death by two children Shonda and Thomas, Jr. His parents Clarence and Eula Acker, his sister Dorothy Robinson and his daughter-in-law, Brenda Vaughn.

He is survived by one daughter, Malinda “Vicky” Robinson (Kenneth), a brother Clarence Acker; three grandchildren Kenneth. Jr., Kenya and Thomas Acker, Ill; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held 11:00

A. M. Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Heart and Hand Community Church 912 Briarfield Road Newport News with Rev. Melvin Futrell, officiating.
